Linglestown youth baseball recap

Here’s a recap of Linglestown Baseball Association youth baseball action for the week of June 2 - 7:

Linglestown Teener A split a pair of games. Early in the week Linglestown defeated cross township rival Paxton 16 - 1. Linglestown lost Friday to West Hanover 9 - 4.

Linglestown Teener B Phillies defeated Swatara 9 - 1.

Linglestown Teener C was defeated by Palmyra 4 - 3.

In Midget action, the Tigers are two wins away from clinching the #1 seed for the playoffs and remain undefeated at 14 - 0. The Orioles defeated the Sox twice this week to pull ahead in the battle for the final playoff spot.

In Pony action, the Mets and Rams continue to battle for the #1 seed. The Rams defeated the Owls and Padres, while the Mets defeated the Owls.

The Linglestown Future Stars Tournament will be held July 11 – 19. Ten teams consisting of players 10 and younger will compete in a round robin tournament.
