* Hey, it’s chicken BBQ time again this Saturday, Aug. 9, at Linglestown Fire Co. #1. The birds will be cooked up and ready to go starting at 10:30 am and will be available until the last one is sold. This take-out event will feature a half chicken, baked potato, and roll, for $ 6.50, and will take place on the parking lot adjacent to the engine room at 5831 Linglestown Rd., at the west end of the village.

* Central Dauphin Band Boosters Association is proud to welcome the legendary sound of The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra to the Central Dauphin High School for one night only on Tuesday, September 16, at 7:00 pm.
