Firefighters report busy October

Linglestown firefighters were called into action 45 times during October, according to a report compiled by Dan Crum, assistant chief of Linglestown Fire Company.

The thing that jumps out at me is at the top of the October report – 791+ man hours were spent on emergency calls, training and running the volunteer fire company. That’s an amazing amount of public service!
