Linglestown weekend happenings

Friday & Saturday, May 8 & 9 ... Live music at St. Thomas Roasters coffee house in Linglestown returns with two nights of songs and merriment. Kicking things off Friday evening will be Mike Clark. And, Saturday night features longtime Roasters favorite Just Dave (pictured) who will present selections from his ever-expanding catalog of music that includes tunes made famous by Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Jimmy Buffett, Bruce Springsteen, and Old Crow Medicine Show.

Stop by 8–10 pm both nights to sample some of Java Geof’s heavenly coffees, teas and frozen drinks while you listen to some great music. There's no admission charge beyond dropping some green in the tip vase if you like what you hear.

Saturday, May 9 … Chicken Bar-B-Q at New Hope Church in Linglestown, featuring the Noll family secret receipt, 10 am–1 pm, $7 day of BBQ. (map)
