Gazette government watchdog services expand

This post marks the beginning of a content-sharing arrangement between the Gazette and Lower Paxton Twp. watchdog group SWAN. Members of SWAN attend most municipal meetings and report on notable actions taken by township officials.

The first report is a recap of the Lower Paxton Twp. Planning Commission meeting held June 10, 2009. The commission is charged with making recommendations to the township supervisors on development plans and proposed land-use regulations. At a minimum, take a minute or two to scan the report to see if anything new is happening in your neighborhood or something is brewing that could impact you or your neighbors.
