UPDATES: Linglestown merchants

* Jim and Lisa Clancy are inching closer to opening their custom frame shop – appropriately called Framed! – that is located a couple doors west of St. Thomas Restaurant in the village square. Odds are it will be open prior to the Firemen’s Convention in Linglestown on June 12–13.

* Linglestown Flowers & Gifts is moving to the stone house located at the intersection of Linglestown Road and Blue Mountain Parkway. The house is next to Kepler Masonry's office building.

* Another business moving in the not too distant future is Schenk’s Cakes. The shop, currently located in the plaza on N. Mountain Road, will move this summer a few doors closer to the village square into the commercial property that formerly housed an auto supply store.

* The Linglestown Merchants Association is seeking new members. The group’s mission is to promote the "Village of Linglestown" for the benefit of local businesses, residents, and visitors.

The merchants will hold their next meeting this Monday, June 8,
6:30 pm at Olivia’s Tea Room (rear entrance). If you are interested in more information or attending, e-mail Tina Robenolt.
