Bingo games

* June 22 – Thursday night bingo at Holy Name church on Route 22, doors open at 5:30, regular program begins around 7:00

* Sunday, June 25 – Basket Bingo at American Legion Post 272 located on Mountain Road across from Hornung’s Ace Hardware, doors open at 1 pm, Early Bird at 1:50 pm, proceeds go to medical expenses of an Auxilary Member

Youth activities

* Lower Paxton FREE Youth Police Academy, July 10-14, 9 am to 3 pm (lunch will be provided), ages 11 to 15, apply by contacting Lower Paxton Township Police Dept. at 657-5656 between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, ask for Sergeant Waller or Officer Stoner

* New Hope Church, 584 Colonial Club Drive, is sponsoring Fiesta Vacation Bible School, June 25 – 29, 6:30 to 8:30 pm, ages 3 to 5th grade, call church office at 545-3400 for info and registration

* New Hope Church, 584 Colonial Club Drive, is sponsoring MEGA Sports Camp, July 23 – 27, 6:00 to 9:00 pm, 1st through 6th grade, choose from basketball, soccer or cheerleading, $25 registration fee (includes t-shirt), call church office at 545-3400 to register by June 30

Music

Sunday, June 25, 7:00 pm – Simon Apple, an adult contemporary musical group, will appear at St. Thomas United Church of Christ, 6490 Linglestown Road, outdoor concert on the church grounds

July 4th Holiday

Monday, July 3 – Annual fireworks display sponsored by Lower Paxton Township and The Linglestown Fire Company, Koons Park, about 9:45 pm
