Townhomes, motel coming to village

A pair of new construction projects soon will get started in Linglestown based on happenings at the Lower Paxton Township supervisors meeting on Nov. 6, 2006.

Plans were approved for an 18-unit townhouse/condo project off of Jerome Blvd., which is located near Koons Park.

Also, the supervisors reviewed plans for a new motel proposed to be constructed across from the new Tex-Mex restaurant at the intersection of Mountain Road and Lockwillow Ave.

The supervisors have requested additional information on the impact the motel would have on the busy Mountain Road – Lockwillow Ave. intersection that is controlled by a traffic light.
