Village business update

The business scene in the old village section of Linglestown has been quite active of late.

First, some bad news. St. Thomas Creamery has closed and the building is up for sale.

And, here's what's new ...

Linglestown Flowers & Gifts is now open for business at 5939 Linglestown Road, just a couple doors away from St. Thomas Roasters. The store is being billed as "Your Friendly Small Town Full Service Florist." There's plenty of parking behind the store.

Speaking of St. Thomas Roasters, the coffee shop will be extending its business hours to 8 pm Monday–Thursday starting Nov. 13.

And finally, The Linglestown Chocolate Cafe is scheduled to open Nov. 17. CLICK HERE for more information.

Note the new deck that's recently been added to the front of the former church at 5948 Linglestown Road, across from St. Thomas Roasters.
