More eateries could be coming to the village

Heard via the grapevine …

One of the participating partners operating the The Linglestown Chocolate Cafe has purchased two homes located next to the restaurant with the intent of opening a bakery and some other type of eatery.

The new businesses would be located across from the new flower and gift shop on Linglestown Road.

Let's hope he has the good sense to take care with maintaining the streetscape. No need to turn the exterior of those houses into monstrosities, as he did by adding that ugly deck that ruined the front of ye olde church. Take some lessons from the developer who built two new houses/businesses that attempted to tie in with archetecture of surrounding houses.
