Lower Paxton Township sewer rates could double

Lower Paxton Township is facing an estimated $67 million bill to fix the aging sewer system that serves neighborhoods west of the village of Linglestown. The project could cause sewer bills to climb from $95 to almost $200 per quarter in next the several years, according to township manager George Wolfe. CLICK HERE for details from Sunday's Patriot-News.

The sewer project is on the board of supervisors' meeting agenda for Tuesday, June 19 (7:30 pm, municipal center, 425 Prince Street). The meeting will be broadcast on Comcast channel 20. CLICK HERE for meeting agenda.
