Plan unveiled for fancy restaurant near Linglestown

The Patriot-News reports on a 587-seat restaurant with valet parking, a waterfall and reflecting pools planned for a lot located between the Weis store and Dunkin Donuts on Linglestown Road, about two miles west of the village.

It seems to me that the business is the type of establishment that would be more appropriate for a tourist area. Also, I think it's a bit much for three-lane Linglestown Road, which is state Route 39.

Lower Paxton Township's planning commission is reviewing the plan. The panel serves in an advisory capacity for the township supervisors, who have the final say on all development projects.

Definetely an odd location...Valet parking, reflecting pools, water fountains all between Hollywood Video, Weis, Dunkin Donuts and a strip mall?? I think the proposed Hoss owned brew pub would fit that location better. So yes, between this place and the brew pub, that's alot of extra traffic...Although I like to see and I dont object to the development of Linglestown Rd and see new places to venture to, I just dont think that the road can handle it.
