Linglestown weekend happenings

* Linglestown Fire Co. is sponsoring a motorcycle "Fire Ride" and dice run on Saturday, Aug. 25. In addition to the motorcycle ride, a chicken BBQ will take place the same day at the fire company's stone parking lot starting at 11 am.

* Linglestown Football Association teams will play their regular season opener on Sunday, Aug. 26 against West Shore at Koons Park. First game starts at 1:00 pm.
