Work resumes on village parking lot

PPL today began the process of relocating a utility pole that has held up construction of the municipal parking lot located on Blackberry Lane behind the Chocolate Cafe.

In the picture, the new pole is to the left of the old pole, which is marked with an “X.” The old pole is located in the middle of the lot's main driveway, and will be removed after cable TV, telephone and power lines have been relocated to the new pole.
