EXCLUSIVE: Sheetz to open next spring

Construction has started on the Sheetz store at in the intersection of Allentown Blvd. and Blue Ribbon Avenue, the former site of Geo's Family Restaurant.

The store is tentatively scheduled to open in May or June next year, according to Sheetz spokeswoman Monica Jones.

It will have 14 gas pumps, and will also feature a car wash, said Jones.

In addition to Sheetz's MTO menu and specialty items like Burgerz and Fryz (sic), the store will offer Sheetz Bros. Coffee full-service espresso bar with Made-to-Order Mochas, Cappuccinos, Lattes, frozen and iced coffee drinks and frozen fruit smoothies and protein shakes.
