Village shopping alert

The fine folks at First Impressions Boutique and Day Spa and Linglestown Flowers and Gifts sent me a note about their joint Holiday Open House this Thursday, Nov. 8, through Sunday, Nov. 11.

There will be holiday refreshments and in-store promotions at both shops that are located west of the village square.

I walked past the shops today, and the proprietors were busy decorating the outside of the stores with Christmas decorations and lights.

If you haven’t explored the shops yet, the open house is a great reason to stop by and possibly find great bargains for the fast-approaching holiday season. Remember, there’s plenty of parking behind the shops.
