Linglestown bulletin board

* Friday, Jan. 18 – Central Dauphin High School students will present a black-and-white photography exhibit entitled Facing the Demons Within, 7 pm, Der Harrisburg Maennerchor, 221 North Street, Harrisburg. CLICK HERE for more info.

* Friday, Jan. 18 – Grantville resident and former Hollywood insider Frank Cotolo will once again grace the stage at St. Thomas Roasters with music, storytelling and jokes, 8-10 pm, no cover. The coffee house is located just west of the village square. Frank is a sure bet to make you smile and dance.

* Linglestown Baseball Association youth baseball sign-ups will be held January 19 and 26, 9 am to noon and January 23, 6 pm to 7 pm. All sign-ups are at the Linglestown Baseball Clubhouse at Koons Park. Age requirements are girls ages 5 - 7, and boys 5 and older as of 4/30/2008. Proof of age required for first-time players.

* Linglestown Life, located just north of the square, invites Gazette readers to get 2008 started in a positive way with a series of worship celebrations that will feature the theme New Year – New You. Services on Sunday morning begin at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 am.

This week come and benefit from the first of a two-part message entitled A New View on Problems.

* New Hope Church is offering encouragement and tips for creating a new you with a sermon series called Hope and Health for 2008. This week's message is entitled Letting Go ...

Speaking of look-alikes, there's a guy that stops by occasionally for Frank's show that looks like Paul "Bridge Over Troubled Water" Simon.
