The Republicans are coming!
The Dauphin County Republicans will host a campaign petition signing party for three candidates this Saturday, Feb. 2, from 10 am to noon at St. Thomas Roasters coffee house located near the Linglestown square:
* State Sen. Jeffrey Piccola and state Rep. Ron Marsico, both longtime officeholders who are seeking re-election.
* First-time candidate Toni Gilhooley who hopes to challenge incumbent Democratic U.S. Rep. Holden of Schuylkill County. Gilhooley is a 25-year veteran of the Pennsylvania State Police and a resident of Lower Paxton Township.
One or more of the candidates will be at Roasters to rub elbows with customers.

I wonder if it's good business for Geoff to be so politically involved?
Nice try, Tim Holden supporter. It's always good for citizens to be involved in the political process. Plus, St. Thomas Roasters sold a lot of coffee and snacks to the good Republicans who participated. At least two of the candidates who benefited from the signing live within a few minutes of the place.
All in all, it sounds like a good business decision.
