LP meeting on tap; square project on agenda

The Lower Paxton Township supervisors will conduct their second and final business meeting for February tonight at 7:30 pm, Township Municipal Center, 425 Prince Street. Comcast cable subscribers can view a live broadcast of the meeting on channel 20. CLICK HERE for the meeting agenda.

The township is in the process of acquiring land-use agreements from about 100 property owners for the Linglestown improvement project, and the supervisors will meet behind closed doors tonight prior to the public meeting to discuss right-of-way issues.

On a related matter, I tentatively plan to attend the Village of Linglestown Committee meeting on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 7 pm at the Linglestown Fire Company’s brick building. The committee is advisory group to the township on the planned improvement project.
