TGIF Linglestown

The new Sheetz at the intersection of Allentown Blvd. and Blue Ribbon Ave. is starting to take shape. The store appears to be on track to open in May or June.

Other stuff …

* Residents who live in and near the village can be glad that Linglestown Fire Co. is a top-notch volunteer operation. Other local fire departments around the state aren’t fairing so well.

* The “Smart Car,” a tiny car that looks to be a great way to motor around the village, is back in the news. CLICK HERE for a video report from WHTM abc27.

* Low-budget presidential candidate is now in West Virginia. I guess he's not going to make a stop in Linglestown. Previously, I spotted him via the Internet in Chambersburg and Williamsport. CLICK HERE for a TV news report that includes video.
