Linglestown weekend preview

Yard sale Saturday YARD SALE, 6303 Catherine St., 7 am – 2 pm, large Broyhill entertainment center, household items, toys, computer games, books, games, junior/other clothing. ... COMMUNITY YARD SALE, Blue Meadows Farm, St. Thomas Blvd., 300 homes, 8 am – 1 pm. ... ESTATE SALE, 6215 Blue Stone Ave., 8 am – 2 pm, bedroom set, lamps, tables, sofa, Christmas items, tools and much more.

Take me out to the ballpark Koons Park at Michael Jones Memorial Field (located next to the pool) is the place to be Saturday at 11:30 am for opening day festivities for the midget baseball season. Several games are slated for the afternoon, so pack your favorite folding chair and stop by for a game or two.

It’s chicken BBQ time again St. Thomas United Church of Christ located just east of the historic village is kicking off the BBQ season Saturday, 10 am to sold out, drive-thru service available. Hmm hmm good!

Kids stuff for sale Kids Market is setting up shop this Friday, 9 am to 7 pm, and Saturday, 8 am to 2 pm at New Hope Church on Colonial Club Drive.

Music at Roasters According to Fly Magazine, St. Thomas Roasters coffee house will feature Just Dave, Saturday, tunes start at 8 pm, no cover. Who is Just Dave and what does he do? Please post a comment if you’re in the know.
