NEWS ALERT: Killing reported in Linglestown

Shortly after noon, police and emergency workers escorted a person on a gurney to an ambulance, which then left the standoff scene at 6020 LaRue Street (pictured) in Linglestown. The shooting was the top story for local TV news operations. News crews from WGAL TV-8, WHTM abc27 and WHP TV-21 set up shop Monday afternoon at the Koons Park lot located at the end of Larue Street to do live reports for their early newscasts.
