In the first game, Linglestown took a 4-2 lead into the 6th inning before giving up two runs to Norristown, sending the game into extra innings. Norristown scored a run in the top of the 8th to take a 5-4 lead. Linglestown got runners in scoring position during their at-bat but couldn’t plate a runner to extend the game.

Linglestown won their second game 10-2 over the Berkshire Blue Sox behind a solid pitching performance by left-hander Rhys Wolford. Brian Zellers and Steve Booker each homered for Linglestown to lead the hitting attack.

In the finale, Linglestown was leading the Berkshire Red Sox before rain forced the game and rest of the preseason tournament to be called off for the weekend.
