Linglestown Twilight continues winning way

Linglestown Twilight upped its winning streak to five Saturday by shutting out Pennbrook 2-0 at hot and steamy Koons Park. The team's record is 5-1.

Jason Kelly threw seven excellent innings to record the win in his first appearance since pitching for Shippensburg University in the Division II college world series in Illinois last week. He struck out four with no walks and gave up only five hits.

Shawn Berwager led the team offensively, driving in both runs with a pair of clutch hitting appearances. He hit a solo home run in the 3rd inning with two outs and no one on, and then had a two-out hit in the 6th to plate Jason Kelly, who singled earlier that inning. Kelly went one-for-one at the plate with two walks.
