Low electric wires block traffic

Fire police responded to a call in the Linglestown area today about low-hanging electric wires that were blocking vehicle traffic on Blue Bird Avenue near N. Blue Ribbon Avenue. They stayed on site until a PPL repair crew showed up to correct the problem, said a Linglestown Fire Co. official.

It's nice they fixed those. Now if the same could be done for the wires that are still being held up by a utility van bucket on 22 near the skateboard shop... nudge nudge, wink wink PPL.

A vehicle completely destroyed the steel pole that had been there.
