What do you want to know about ...

the planned $4 million Lingletown square and improvement project?

As reported on this blog Tuesday, I'm hoping to do a brief video interview with a member of the Village of Linglestown Committee, the citizens group that has been assisting Lower Paxton Twp. develop a plan to improve traffic flow through historic Linglestown and give the town a facelift.

I'd like Linglestown Gazette nation to in essence do the interview. What do you want to know about the project? Please post comment or send an e-mail with your questions.

Some questions:
How will traffic be diverted during construction?
How will traffic be diverted on Blue Mtn. Parkway when the bypass is under construction?
What is the latest start date for construction?
Are businesses in the village likely to suffer major loss of business during construction... and are there any plans to help diminish the loss of business?
What kind of lighting in the village?
Will any of the old trees now lining the village be saved...or do all of them come down?
What is the projected completion date?

Thanks for asking! No, it's still on my to-do list -- my one-man news-gathering operation is leaking oil!

I've obtained a committee member's contact info from the township office. Next step is to schedule a meeting. Tentative plan is to do a video and release segments over a number of days.
