Woman dies in Colonial Park car crash

This morning a two-car crash at the intersection of Locust Lane and S. Arlington Ave. claimed the life of an 87-year-old woman. The victim was transported to Pinnacle Hospital where she died as a result of apparent injuries sustained in the crash, Lower Paxton Twp. police report.

The driver of the other vehicle, Mararito Jardono (pictured), age 24, is awaiting arraignment on several charges including a third-degree felony for being involved in a deadly accident while not properly licensed. Jardono resides in the 200 block of Locust Grove Court.

According to witnesses at the scene, the Dodge Ram pick-up truck operated by Jardono was traveling east on Locust Lane, entered the intersection facing a steady red traffic signal light and struck the victim’s car in the driver’s side door. The victim was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The local office of U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been notified for further investigation regarding Jardono's legal status in this country.
