How can LP residents find out what trails are there, how long they are, and where the trail heads are?
I go up there a lot. If you keep walking the trail you will come to a gate. Walk passed it and it will take you out to the power line pylons and power lines that Bill speaks of in the video.
The trail will continue down into Fishing Creek if you proceed to follow it. Also, if you go down south of the power lines you will find some abandoned vehicles and more trails that lead into Centennial Acres and on out to the huge Radio Towers on the Mountain.
