Middletown trips up Twilight

Post game show recaps Middletown’s 7-2 win Friday evening over Linglestown Twilight at Koons Park. It includes action shots and comments from Linglestown coach Steve Econ. CLICK HERE to view an enhanced version of the show.

Middletown got all the runs they needed in the first inning when Linglestown gave up three unearned runs. Linglestown first baseman Sean Frailey and outfielder A.J. Granito each hit RBI doubles; Granito was two-for-three.

Twilight notes ... Twilight remains in first place in the East Shore Twilight league with a 16-6-2 record. ... The team plays two home games at Koons Park next week – Tuesday, July 22, against Palmyra, and Thursday, July 24, versus Penbrook. Both games will start at 6 pm. ... The team's Web site includes player stats. ... Steve Booker continues to lead the team in batting with a .415 average. ... Where's Rhys? Pitcher/designated hitter Rhys Wolford is pictured grounding into a 5-3 out in the post game show.
