UPDATE: Linglestown youth baseball all-stars

KOONS PARK (July 11) – The Linglestown Future Stars Tournament (10 and under) at Koons Park kicked off Friday night with Linglestown defeating East Penn 13-7. Trailing 6-4, Lingletown’s Brayden Parr led off the fifth inning with a single, and then Tori Lesko doubled and Zach Hoffman tripled to get a big inning started. Linglestown rallied for five runs in fifth inning and four more in the sixth.

Brayden Parr, Tori Lesko, Zach Hoffman and William Zeigler each contributed two hits apiece. Tori Lesko pitched four strong innings and was relieved by J.T. Fredericks who picked up the win for Linglestown.

In the Susquehanna Valley Tournament, the Linglestown Midget team completed the first round with a perfect 3-0 record, defeating Silver Springs, Hershey White and Lebanon Valley White. Linglestown will start the second round, which is single elimination, on Tuesday night.
