PREVIEW: LP supervisors workshop

Lower Paxton Twp. didn’t post the agenda online for tonight’s workshop meeting at the Municipal Center that will start at 6 pm.

I picked up a hard copy of the agenda while running errands this afternoon. Below is a summary of what will be discussed:

* Two issues that directly impact the Linglestown area – (1) Koons Pool and its association’s efforts to maintain operations, and (2) the proposed use of Wolfersberger Tract by local soccer association CASA.

* Several recreation issues, including a discussion on the role of the Parks and Recreation Board in park planning and facility use.

* A discussion with John Murphy, representing the Village of Laurel Ridge, regarding a zoning ordinance amendment to expand housing types.
