2008 Look-Back: Exclusive sports coverage

Linglestown Gazette offered expanded coverage of the Linglestown sports scene this year.

The main focus last summer was on the Twilight baseball team that won a second straight league championship. Several game reports included video post-game interviews with players and coaches, including one that featured catcher Bryan Stovall get a pie in the face.

Occasional reports were published about midget, pony, teener and Legion baseball action.

This year marked the second season for exclusive coverage of Linglestown Colts youth football. Eileen Arnold submitted game scores. Thanks Eileen!
