2008 Look-Back: Lending a helping hand

Linglestown Gazette and Amelia’s Grocery Outlet teamed up to sponsor two food drives in 2008.

The first one was held in April and benefited a food pantry operated by Harrisburg Brethren in Christ Church located on Derry Street in the city.

The food collected during the drive held in November went to the emergency food pantry operated by LifePoint Church located along Route 22 in West Hanover Twp.
