* Five-year spending plan shows school district is approaching a financial crisis.

* Kathy Stone and A.J. Sallusti switch jobs as school board's top leaders.

* The search for a new school superintendent is under way. The board expects to fill the position by July 1.

The public is invited to come to any of the following meetings to discuss what they want to see in a new Central Dauphin School District superintendent:

– Wednesday, Dec. 3: 1 to 2:15 pm and 7 to 8:15 pm in the Central Dauphin High School auditorium.

– Thursday, Dec. 4: 10 to 11:15 am in the Central Dauphin East High School auditorium and 7 to 8:15 pm in the Central Dauphin East High School library.
