First Night Linglestown 2010?

I’m still seeking a few adventurous souls who want to join me in planning a New Year's Eve celebration next year in the village of Linglestown.

I think it would be cool to create a fun event with at least one feature that would improve the odds of the village getting some positive publicity. It would help if the midnight activity is something other than lowering a pickle, wrench, lollipop, whatever – it seems like nearly everything imaginable is being dropped, including a sprint car in Port Royal.

Staging a First Night celebration should be fairly easy to do if planning gets started early in 2009. What do you say? E-mail B² if you're at least willing be part of this community project.
