Meeting reminders … Stray Winds Area Neighbors, a community watchdog group better known as SWAN, will hold its monthly meeting this Monday, March 30, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1100 Colonial Road, 7 pm. The public is encouraged to attend. … The first organizational meeting for Linglestown First Night will be held at St. Thomas Roasters coffee house on Monday, April 6, 6:30–7:30 pm. Sports roundup, Thursday games … GIRLS’ SOCCER: Morgan Gates scored a second-half goal to lead the CD Lady Rams to a 2–1 victory over Cedar Cliff. Amy Davies, with an assist from Gates, netted the other Ram goal. … Harrisburg Christian creamed Harrisburg Academy 9–0. Rebeccah Smith was the game’s top performer with five goals and an assist. BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL: CD Rams swept Lower Dauphin by scores of 25–12, 25–21 and 25–23. … REC VOLLEYBALL: Lower Paxton Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting registrations for summer volleyball at Koons Park. Where is 4300 Linglestown? Clearly that's at the corner of Linglestown and Colonial according to Google Maps, but I'm not sure exactly where that's at, or if they're building something new.
