Free workshop to focus on Paxton Creek

Paxton Creek Watershed and Education Association (PCWEA) is working to address pollution problems in the Paxton Creek, a situation that could cost Lower Paxton and other communities millions of dollars to fix. The stream snakes through the Linglestown area west of the historic village on its 12.8-mile path to the Susquehanna River.

As a community service, PCWEA is offering a free workshop this Saturday, March 28, on watershed runoff and best management practices to fix the creek, 9 am to noon, begins and ends at St. Thomas Roasters coffee house in the village of Linglestown.

CLICK HERE for details. So adequate materials can be prepared, participants are requested to notify workshop organizers by calling 545-1336 prior to Friday, March 27.
