Arbor Day in Lower Paxton

Lower Paxton Twp. officials and Linglestown Elementary School students and teachers gathered Tuesday at the Friendship Center for the 17th annual Arbor Day Ceremony.

The event included the planting of a "Red Sunset" Red Maple that was donated by Deimler & Sons Construction, a local home improvement contractor, and Andy Brought of the state Bureau of Forestry presented township officials with a Tree City USA flag.
