HELP WANTED: Citizen reporter needed

I’d like to do a better job of covering Central Dauphin School District, specifically school board meetings.

Currently, the school district only gets occasional mentions in The Patriot-News even though every meeting has something that should be made available to the public. After all, the district’s tax bills put a major dent in most household budgets.

Please e-mail B² if you attend meetings and would be willing to jot down a few notes. Volunteer reporters would NOT need to write articles, just pass along info. And, I’d endeavor to provide some non-cash rewards for the help.

The next board meeting will be held Monday, April 20, in the Lecture Hall of Central Dauphin East High School, 7 pm.
