Midget: Orioles 6 – Sox 0 … On Friday, Keil Rutter of the Orioles (1–1) hit his first home run of the season, and Bryson Allen pitched three strong innings. The loss was the first one of season for the Sox (2–1).

Pony: Padres 14 – Rams 7 … The visiting Padres defeated the Rams 14–7 Friday in a hard fought victory. The Padres (1–2) jumped out to an early 12-3 lead. There was no quit in the Rams (0–2) as they battled back to bring it to within seven, but in the end they couldn't find enough offense to pull ahead.
