Plant upgrade won't impact LP sewer rates

The wastewater treatment plant located near Hummelstown that serves part of Lower Paxton is slated to get a $24 million upgrade. Township manager George Wolfe told The Patriot-News that Lower Paxton has paid its $14 million share toward the project, and the expense would not impact sewer bills.
