Linglestown baseball scores

Midget Division

Cubs 12 – Braves 3 … The game played Friday night under the lights was tight until Michael Chaudhry of the Cubs (4–5) broke it open with a grand slam. Teammate Tori Lesko also belted a round-tripper in the win.

Pony Division

Mets 12 – Colts 7 … The Colts (3–6) made a valiant comeback effort Friday that fell short as pitchers Sebastian Collins, Nick Riner and Erin DelPierre of the Mets (6–2) turned in some outstanding mound work. The Colts got key hits from Ben Gill and Garrett Carl.

Owls 6 – Rams 1 … The Rams (1–8) fought hard and played good defense Saturday, but a first-inning homer by Gavyn Hoffman was all the offense they could muster. Athan Graham of the Owls (9–0) had an outstanding outing on the mound, striking out nine batters.
