Twilight continues winning ways

Linglestown Twilight sandlot baseball team traveled to Pennbrook and came away with a 7–3 win Wednesday evening. Pete Hayden got the win with some last-inning relief help from Shawn Berwager. Twilight (5–1; first place) took command of the contest by scoring five runs in the third inning.

Next game: Twilight will take on Lykens/Wiconisco this Sunday, June 14, at Koons Park, 2 pm.

Linglestown Twilight is the two-time defending champions of the East Shore Twilight League. Most team members are current or former college players. There is no admission charge to attend games.
