Twilight splits pair of road games

Linglestown Twilight sandlot baseball team staged a last-inning rally Tuesday against Lykens/Wiconisco that came up a run short, spoiling a good outing by Brad Sanders on the mound. Final score was 3–2.

Twilight got back on track Wednesday by whipping Steelton 7–2. The win improved the team’s record to 8–2. Jason Kelly was the winning pitcher.

Next home game … Twilight will host first-place Palmyra this Saturday, June 27, at Koons Park. First pitch is scheduled to fly at 5 pm. I plan to be the game announcer – stop by and say "hi."
