Midget Division

Orioles 5 – Sox 3 (Tue., 6/9) … Kiel Rutters of the Orioles (10–9) pitched five strong innings to earn the victory over the Sox (10-9). Gary Smith homered for the Sox.

Braves 16 – Cubs 6 (Tue., 6/9) … The Braves (2–18) were red hot at the plate with every player reaching base and scoring at least once during the game. Jason Wenrich led the attack with two doubles and a single. Max Hess homered and singled, and Christian Correale added a double and a single and also held the Cubs (7–11) to only five hits. One of those hits by the Cubs was a round-tripper by Joel Nelson, his first of the season.
