Linglestown baseball update

* Linglestown 10-and-under All-Stars defeated Lower Dauphin Jr. Falcons 15–5 Wednesday in the semifinal round of Linglestown Baseball Association's Future Stars Tournament. Pitcher Christian Fox-Klein picked up his second victory of the tournament, going the distance for Linglestown. Braydon Parr went three-for-three with a walk to lead the Linglestown sluggers. Fox-Klein and A.J. Millar each added a pair of hits.

Linglestown will face Hershey Blue this evening at 7 pm at Koons Park in the tournament championship game.

* Linglestown Twilight lost to Pennbrook 2–1 in an away game Wednesday. The loss drops Twilight into a first-place tie with Middletown with 17–4 records.

Twilight plays at Palmyra on Friday, 7 pm, and then hosts Valley View for a doubleheader Saturday at Koons Park, 1 pm and 4 pm.

* Hummelstown won the Dauphin County Legion playoffs Wednesday by defeating Linglestown Legion 17–3. CLICK HERE for a game report from The Patriot-News.
