Lower Paxton watchdog, 08.27.09

Lower Paxton Twp. planners continued talks this month on suggested revisions to a noise ordinance and the need to regulate wind and solar energy.

No new major construction projects were on the agenda, a situation that is hitting the township in the pocketbook. Fees charged to developers normally are a significant revenue source for the township. The lack of new projects is one reason why township revenues are running behind last year by more than $1 million.
