CD bus outsourcing hits roadblock

CLICK HERE for an update from The Patriot-News, and HERE for in-depth coverage from WHTM TV-27.

The video report from TV-27 says Durham School Services has already paid $2 million for the school district's aging bus fleet.

Also, all news accounts indicate that James Ellison, the district's attorney, is not returning calls from reporters.

Let's not forget the mechanics. They keep the buses moving. They are a small group of well trained and dedicated workers who are also getting a raw deal from the district.

Please fellow taxpayers, Pray for the bus drivers, they have real medical needs and can't afford to loose their healthcare, eye and dental. The drivers are only asking for what they are due according to their contract. The mechanics need a special prayer too, they are good men and deserve to be treated according to their contract. No favors, just the right, honest answer to these two groups of peoples contracts. Thanks for your consideration.
