CD High bands offer holiday events

Central Dauphin High School's two Jazz Bands are getting ready for a swinging holiday season!

They'll entertain shoppers at Harrisburg's Strawberry Square on Wednesday, December 9, from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. Then the bands will transform the high school cafeteria into a winter wonderland at 7 pm on Friday, December 11, at their annual Holiday Dessert Dance, an evening of great music celebrating the holiday season, sweet treats, and dancing.

Admission to the Holiday Dessert Dance is only $3 per person or $5 per couple. Proceeds benefit the Central Dauphin High School band program. Tickets are available at the door. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Music at Roasters

Upcoming musical treats at St. Thomas Roasters coffee house in the Linglestown Square will feature steel guitarist Sterling Koch on Friday, Dec. 11, and the ever-popular Grantville duo of Frank and Jack Cotolo on Saturday, Dec. 12. Enjoy free entertainment to go along with the area’s best craft coffees 8-10 pm both nights.
