Santa to take early tour of Linglestown area

Santa will be making stops throughout the Linglestown area this Sunday, Dec. 20 courtesy of Linglestown Fire Company. Signs announcing each location where Jolly Saint Nick will hand out goodies have been posted.

My kids always looked forward to Santa making his rounds in Lower Paxton and handing out those toys and special treats! While I loved to see the smile on their faces, I couldn't help but think that the majority of the residents in this area were financially comfortable and I was sure that most of the kids are well taken care of at Christmastime. I always thought the toys would be put to better use if they were distributed to families less fortunate. Not a criticism, just a comment.
